Italian Market Show at 12 STEPS DOWN Thurs. May 7

I will Be showing a Philly collection of pieces focusing on the italian market area opening next thursday (May 6) starting at 7.  Hosted by 12 steps down.  Great beer selection.  Great food.

Included in the show will be photographs drawings and paintings of Philadelphia.  This show is going hand in hand with the Italian market festival (may 16 and 17) so stop on by!

Originals, Prints and T-shirts will be available at the opening and during the Italian Market festival.

"Mail Me Art 2" Is out and away!

Sent in my submission for "MAil Me Art 2" today.  Very excited about this project.  I remember seeing the first book they produced and thinking I wish I could have done that... Now I have. Anyways we'll see what comes of it from here.  Keep a look out for this piece on Facebook at..

Side Projects

So I have a couple of side projects that I thought i'd share.  First, a few months back I started a custom skateboard.  Took a regular skateboard, cut it down with a jig saw, sanded it and painted it.

 And here are the results...

Also Recently I Began Building my bar.  These first 2 photographs show the initial stages.  I plan on Inlaying tons of bottle caps in a clear countertop resin for the top.  As you can see it was already in use in the earliest of stages.

 Both of these photographs were taken on November 17 2009. 

Here are some shots a little later in the game.  When I started laying out these bottle caps, I thought I had plenty.  They Barely spanned the length of the bar twice...

12 steps success

stolen painting...

Here's some news... so recently a painting was stolen from North Star Bar.  I had a show up for a couple of months and that said painting happened to be mine.  Not too happy about it... though I am oddly flattered...  In any case, the painting happened to be one of my favorites.  If anyone has any news about this, I would be extremely grateful to hear it.  Included below is the painting that was taken...
