The Night Wolf is Watching...

So it starts.

The night wolf is a children's poem for adults that I'm working on with a good friend.

Here's a taste of the poem...

Morgan Mumford hid his eyes,

He knew not what the night disquised,

A shifty shadow by his side

Suggested something lurked nearby

                  The Night Wolf is Watching.

 

And the closet,  open wide,

A grinning, gaping, hole inside

That never ends and swallows time

Held two red beedy, glowing eyes.

                  The Night Wolf is Watching.

Update!

Ah.  So it's been a while since I've updated...  where to start.

 I have a few shows coming up.  There will be a show at 12 steps down in south philly in January.  I will post dates when I get a permanent schedule.  

Also I have started working on a couple of books  with some friends.  Can't say more at this time but I will be sure to keep you updated.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support me and the rest of my class at the 2009 Illustration Ely show.  The show was a huge success and looks amazing.  The work will be up until April 14th so if you didn't make it out yet then try to do so.  Also I just wanted to say that the judges made very tough and great decisions when it came to choosing the winners. Good job everyone!    The winners are as follows...    Katelyn Lewis, and Steve Streisguth.  Honorable mentions...  Graham Palme, Nicole Buglak, Daniel Fishel, Adrienne Langer,  and myself.

Just go see the show!  It's worth it  

Thesis Show

I'm hanging my senior thesis show tomorrow in Hamilton Hall on the corner of Broad and Pine streets.  The reception will be held this sunday the 29th.  You better be there!  I believe it will be from 2-5.  

Also!  Fairmount Arts Crawl show at Northstar bar on Sunday, April 26.  You can check out the website at Fairmountartscrawl.org for more info.  Tons of great artists and tons of fun.  oh yah and its a bar so there's drinks.

Show at Gianna's Grille

So I just hung a show at Gianna's Grille on 6th street between South and Lombard Streets.  You should go check it out and while you're there try some of their food. Many vegan and vegetarian options if you're into that thing.  If not, their real stuff is delicious too.  

  Heh. i'm a real professional now!  Showing at pizza shops!!

Here's a bit o motivation for ya.  It's more for myself, but I can see how it might apply to other people's lives...

website up

So I finally got my website up and running.  And since I have this fancy blog I though it might be nice to let people know what's going on.  I'm currently working on a black and white portfolio for the site so keep checking in to see what I have goin on.

Tentative date for the north start art show is March 15th.  This however should be up all the way through the Spring Fairmount arts crawl.  So come check us out at 27th and poplar. So I guess thats all I have for today.
